1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Noteline, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Noteline is
Noteline is a note-taking application that helps you write notes and convert markdown into clean Word, PDF, and other formats. Most features work without an account; signing in enables sync across devices.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
4. Your content
You own your notes. We claim no rights over the content you create. To operate the sync feature, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your notes solely for the purpose of providing the service.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Noteline for unlawful purposes;
- store or transmit content that infringes others' rights;
- attempt to interfere with, probe, or attack our infrastructure;
- resell or sublicense the service without our written consent.
6. Free and paid plans
Some features may be offered free of charge; others may require a paid subscription. Pricing, limits, and billing terms will be presented at the time of upgrade. We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea (placeholder — confirm with counsel). Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The new version takes effect on the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to signed-in users.
