Where are my notes?

On desktop, your notes are plain Markdown (.md) files in a folder you choose — yours forever. Open that folder with any app, sync it with any service. On iPhone and iPad they are .md files on the device (visible in the Files app) or in your iCloud Drive. On Android they live in the app's own storage, which Android removes if you uninstall the app, so export anything you want to keep first. The web editor saves notes in your browser.

Is it free?

The desktop app (Mac, Windows, Linux) comes with a free 30-day trial, then a one-time license. The iPhone, iPad, and Android apps are free, and so is the web editor.

How do updates work?

The desktop app checks for updates automatically and can update in place — or grab the latest from the download page anytime.

Do you collect my data?

No accounts, and no tracking or analytics in the app. Your notes never leave your device. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
