Where are my notes?

Your notes are plain Markdown (.md) files in a folder you choose on your device — yours forever. Open that folder with any app, sync it with any service.

Is it free?

The desktop app (Mac, Windows, Linux) comes with a free 30-day trial, then a one-time license. The mobile app, when it ships, will be free.

How do updates work?

The desktop app checks for updates automatically and can update in place — or grab the latest from the download page anytime.
