Why desktop

Your .md files live in your folder. iCloud, Dropbox, Git — sync with anything.
No account required. No tracking. No data sent to a server unless you turn on sync.
Word and PDF export work offline — Pandoc/Typst are bundled inside the app.
Tiny footprint (~15 MB) — built on Tauri, not Electron.

Mobile?

Noteline is desktop-first. A mobile companion app is in progress for later — for now, your .md files live in a folder you control, so iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive will already make them readable on your phone.
